This morning our campaign shared a video Together Against Dirty Politics. As a young African-American male politician here in Michigan, we have enough obstacles to overcome. Bias and stereotypes are to be expected; especially overcoming name recognition voting. So when candidates spend time on yard signs, instead of voter contact we all should be concerned about their commitment to service. Detroit and Democrats have had their share of candidates who chose look at me strategy over the people. In the end, the people lose mightily. Before I declared my candidacy, I stood on a track record of putting the people first. Iam asking for your vote to help me make that same statement here in Michigans 10th district.
