This morning some amazing friends prayed for us after church.. and for the entire process in bringing Samuel home. I will be honest and say that today has pretty difficult, even after leaving church. You can imagine the day-to-day roller coaster of emotions.. Maybe its not having busyness to distract me, but it was hard. I can handle waiting, its the fear of the unknown that really gets me, to my very core. I pour over blog posts, embassy announcements, news stories- most of which Ive seen before- but now hoping to see a key word that may hint of something-anything (as if Gods timing is somehow controlled). The process was never meant to be an easy one- but weve seen the impossible become possible, again and again. So Ill put the kids to bed, listen to their hopes and dreams they often share about their brother when he comes home, and Ill return back upstairs to fight this overwhelming worry that is obviously meant to discourage my spirit. Maybe tomorrow will be better- for now Ill resort to starring at his sweet face. The Lloyds Adoption Journey
