This morning we attended a lovely morning tea at Joint Logistic Unit (NQ) at Lavarack Barracks where we were presented with a cheque for $3592-00 raised from their walkathon “Walk Because You Can” held on The Strand on 2nd May. Glenys gave a speech thanking the JLU (NQ) team for their amazing generosity and commitment to our cause, saying how much we appreciate all their time and effort fundraising for local families affected by Cystic Fibrosis. We could not have achieved as much as we have without their wonderful support over the past 10 years, their contribution to our charity has been significant.
