This morning, we would like to thank you. More and more of our Veterans are filing their claims online as FDCs. This is better for you, your fellow Veterans, and for the claims personnel working those claims. Yesterday, for the first time in 39 months, less than half of the claims inventory was backlogged. There are now 567,078 total claims in the rating bundle; 283,033 of those, or 49.9 percent, are older than 125 days. This means that, as more of our Veterans continue submitting their claims online as FDCs--and as our claims personnel continue to tackle the current backlog--less and less of the claims in the current and future inventory will become backlogged.
