This past week, Columbus girls soccer coach Jose Infante announced that he will be stepping down at the conclusion of this season. Please read the letter from Coach Infante that is below. Thank you Coach for all of your time serving our families and young ladies over the years! I am sure some of you have already heard, but I wanted to let you know personally that this will be my last year as Columbus head girls’ soccer coach. It was a very difficult decision, one that I thought about for a very long time. I have coached for over 30 years; 14 at Columbus High School. It was a privilege to coach so many wonderful young women. I went into this hoping to make a difference in their lives but these young ladies have made a difference in mine. I am confident that the program will continue to move forward and enjoy many successful seasons. Thank you so much for your support through the years. Coach Jose Infante
