This past week, this article was put in our local newspaper The Leader regarding the Patriot Knife. The article also included my website and the address to the GoFundMe account gofundme/Patriotknife. Well, I got zero help nor did I sell any hats or Sponsor Knives but I got a ton of request for donations. The article said its all about helping vets and families of vets so all the request for donations had nothing to do with vets. I did have a mother ask me for a Patriot Knife for her son thats a vet. I asked what else has he done besides being a vet? She said nothing, hes just a vet. I told her I couldnt afford to make the knives for everyone just because theyre vets. She still doesnt understand why he shouldnt get one. I did my best to try and explain but she still doesnt understand why. I told her if her son was volunteering to help others or helping other vets suffering from PTSD that might be a reason to award him with one but its not a guarantee. Then she asked if she could buy one. I said sure, just show up at one of the fundraisers Ive donated one to and buy it in the auction.
