This picture was taken in Artis Zoo at Amsterdam. Artis is one of the oldest Zoo in Europe, found in 1838 nearly two centuries ago with 700 species of animals and 200 varieties of trees. It was the first time I saw a lion this close and also it was our daughter’s first trip to the zoo. Looking at the lion, gave me an impression that it knew the daily drill of coming out of its den and posing for photographs.
