This piece is called,” On The Wing.” It was created for a “Most Beautiful Woman.” A lovely young lady with a golden Heart. My friend. It is in honor of her most recent losses, regarding personal Loved Ones. Although, as much as it was created for her Heart, it was created for All Hearts. For Loved Ones fly in and out of our lives in many forms, for many reasons. We constantly wave hello and goodbye. One message (and there are many) within this painting, is that, “ As painful as parting can be, We must always keep our wings and allow others to keep theirs.” Personally, this is a most fitting last painting for this year, for I too find myself “On The Wing,” again. I have set my brush down and in a few days I unhang my hat and venture off. Destination unknown but that is the Beauty of this Dream of ours, is it not. Now... for my Co-Creater of this painting. I Love that you know me. I Love your facial expressions. I Love that you want to tell me things. I Love your smile. I Love our conversations. I Love that you care. I Love your hugs. I Love the way your eyes light up when you laugh. I Love that you are concerned about me. I Love that you trust me. I Love how we are friends. I Love you are close by. I Love that I was able to know you. I Love you.
