This piece tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the attack in Benghazi. It talks about the attackers, the defenders and gives a clear picture of proximity. It doesnt however answer the most poignant question; why the US didn t respond? It also fails to tell us what this Administration was hiding...because there simply is no other acceptable or reasonable eplanation that anyone could give for this United States Government to intentionally leave Americans to die at the hands of these 7th century demons. It is important to know that assets were available that night, geared up and awaiting the call. Those who should have made the call were aware of these assets, and were in contact with them. This means they chose not to make the call. No one will ever be able to convince an ever cynical American population that there could be a legitimate reason for not responding to the need, that night. There were clearly other concerns, untold needs and considerations which caused an order to not respond and we know that order was given because the contingency from the Annex was ordered to stand down; that they disobeyed that order in an effort to help...a decision that cost their lives.
