This post comes from a sister who wishes to remain anonymous Assalamalaikum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh Please post anon sister Amatullahi Abdullah. I dont know if this is the right place to seek advice but i got no one to talk to about this everybody in our family and area consider this a taboo subject. My husband is a very pious and learnered man he wanted to marry another wife but i was not happy with it because I know we cant afford two house holds. Another thing is I am not emotionally strong to handle it. I cant cope we have a toddler and i couldnt cope and give our child 100%. I feel guilty because I cant handle it and because I asked him not to. I want to be a good muslim I have been trying to be good all my life. I feel angry because he layer this on me and forced me in this situation. We dont talk to each other our marriage is messed up even though he didnt go through with it our marriage is still wounded by it.
