The disturbing lack of leadership take away from this article is NOT the headline, it is that the GOP leadership in DC is lacking leadership. And that is very disturbing. There is an inference that Panetta does not like Obamas style - he would prefer Clinton - but that does not mean that Obamas approach is wrong, just that Panetta thinks Obama should lock the GOP leadership in a room somewhere. Not a bad idea - I further suggest that Obama throw away the key.
