This project was inspired by a group of people that I call my family, urging me to write my story so that it could be passed on to others to be inspired by the perseverance and determination I captured throughout my life. Each one of them has made a vital impact on my journey through life and, without them, this life of mine would be non-existent. I decided very early in my college career that, in order for anyone to take me seriously as I was, I would have to start saying what I think with directness and confidence. I found if was the only way I would survive in this cruel world without being plowed over. I apologize now for the swearing, off-color comments and actions that may arise throughout but, with great certainty, I will tell you now that I have left nothing to the imagination. I’m sure some of you will learn things about me, my friends, my family and even yourself; things that you might not know, or might not like...at all. I have learned a lot about myself just in the process of putting this together. I apologize upfront for any ill-feelings anyone may have through this.
