This should help you get ready for the Hudson’s Parade of Bands this Saturday! Finally posted on YouTube is the director’s cut [DC] video of the performance at the Solon Band Bash! It includes “Back in Black”, “Show Me”, “Wake Me Up” and “Light Em Up”. This director’s cut [DC] video shows an overall view of the performance. You may have been waiting a few weeks for this video to be posted, but the Band Multimedia Team has been waiting an entire year for this Solon Band Show. The press box is relatively close to the field at Solon’s Stewart Field. In years past, we were not able to capture the entire band throughout the entire performance–kids would march right off the edges of the screen. We worked on addressing this issue over the years; each season getting a little better. (Compare the 2012, 2013, and this video. You’ll see that each year we captured more of the band than the season before.) Using our newest camcorder, specifically chosen for its amazingly wide field of view, we are now able to capture the entire band!
