This shows the full meaning of the Scripture that say: “Abraham believed God, and God accepted Abraham’s faith, and that faith made him right with God.” And Abraham was called God’s friend. James 2:23 How awesome is it to be called Gods FRIEND!!! What did Abraham do for God to consider him His friend? It was his absolute, blind, innocent, obedient faith! He BELIEVED God! He trusted Him completely! There were no doubts, questions, interrogations, confusion in his heart about his God! He demonstrated that trust time and time again in every move and every decision, even when it was completely out of whack and out of his comfort zone, Abraham was obedient because he knew in his heart of hearts that his friend would always come through! It is that relentless faith that makes us right with God and brings us closer in communion and a trustworthy friendship with God! Because faith is not just saying it but willing to act on it!
