This song about black africans who fought in the US calvary and who became part of the genocide against the first nation native americans. The native americans named them buffalo soldiers and questiined how those who were enslaved by white colonialists could then become part of that very system and murder on its behalf. This song always reminds me of Scots, Welsh and Irish who joined and served in the british army in similar shameful circumstances in Ireland.
