This song breaks my heart. I weep for all of my friends, including some of you that are reading this, for whom this song is reality. My prayer for you today is that you will find someone who will stick by you and love you until the walls around your heart crumble and the rain inside is released in cathartic tears. I want you to know that I dont have any rocks to throw. I offer no condemnation of you. Only tears of love and compassion. Its a brutal place to live and it tears me up to see you living there. There is Hope! You gotta be willing to walk into the pain and it will hurt like hell. I wish I could offer you a painless way to have those walls gone overnight. But theres no such thing. If you want them gone bad enough that you are willing to walk into the pain, I pray you will find someone to walk with you through the pain. I know, I know, its Jesus thats supposed to be walking with you. Thats what everyone throws in your face. And theyre right. But I want you to know that I understand when you say you cant feel him right now. Its OK to sometimes need a flesh and blood person walking with you. Some people call that being Jesus with skin on.
