This song has the deepest meaning to me personally. Plus kevin parker and all his magical guitar effects, make this song one of my all time favs. Perfectly describing the feeling of heartbreak by rejections lyrically (which weve all felt one way or another). Feels like my life is ready to blow, Me and my love well take it slow. I hope she knows that Ill love her long, I just dont know where the hell I belong. How optimism led me astray, Two hundred things I took the wrong way. But I saw her love gauge running low, I tried to fill but it overflowed. She remembers my name Could be blown way out... Then it all just came out Guess Ill hold it in next time... While simultaneously throwing you into this floaty sonic pit thats sounds so full but emits so much emptiness, giving glimpses of melody as if you were getting glimpses of that girl, or boy that just melts your heart and causes you to stand still in admiration. But ultimately the song is about moving on, and learning from the experience of putting yourself out there too quickly. No more getting it wrong, Ill be frozen here on. If forever well see, but no more guessing for me. But I feel that it also perfectly describes the cyclical nature of the human mind, because after this B Section it goes into a C prime. Where the lyrics return to this self loathing Just go for me vibe, then shortly returning to a whatever sorta vibe.
