This song reminds me of my brother in law who passed away 4 years this month from pancreatic cancer. He flew hh65 dolphins most of his military career and transitioned to C130 not too long before he found out he was sick. He wanted to fly them before he retired because his brother Mike flew C130 as well. Mike battled cancer stage four and won the battle thank the Lord but these two guys along with my brother in law Bruce make me so proud to call them my family. I remember after we had his funeral in Maryland for all of his Coast Guard family ,Delta Airlines who Mike is a Capt for, flew Brad to Georgia and then back to our hometown of Americus where we had such a warm welcome from everyone..fire fighters police officers deputy sheriffs neighbors friends family even some people we didnt even know....but I remember Mike coming over to us while we were in Deltas Sky lounge waiting for Delta to get things set up....Mike said....This was the last flight Ill ever have with my brother! Mike found this song when I was doing slide show for the funeral and when we listened to it for the first time I think it was the first good cry Mike had after his passing. There are so many of our soldiers who are coming home and the Angel flight is part of the people who bring them home to their families so they can rest in peace near their loved ones.
