This stupidity gets mentioned every few years, and it irritates me to no end. We have one of the most beautiful, elegant parks in baseball. Why move it downtown? Not enough hobos and drunks? Not enough douchey meatheads from P&L? Id much rather see them get rid of the fleabag motels (and Dennys) between I-70 & 40 Highway and try to build an entertainment district there rather than trying to squeeze a baseball park into our tiny (and lets face it, fairly shitty) downtown. Oh, and also, WE JUST SPENT $225 MILLION RENOVATING THE DAMN PLACE. Okay, sorry, rant over.
