This time I really have something to say. There is a radio programme in Germany (Berlin radio) about the cape baboons and Mr O´........ from UCT has lots to say again, just not anything usefull or good or helpful for the baboons. Now the baboons are made out to be so bad, that they even steel babies and children and all of Cape Town is in pure fear, because of these terrible animals. My kids and I have walked with, close to, next to baboons, ever since they were born. Never did any baboon ever try and attack or do anything to us. But my children have cried a lot about the baboons beeing shot, attackt and paintballed out of the trees while they were sleeping. I think it is about time that as many people as possible speak up for the baboons in the cape and actually all over SA. Please write to UCT and the city of Cape Town and to the Nature Conservation to show you care. I really hope that many of you will write. Thank you so very much. Because if it carries on at this rate, killing them, there will soon be none left and maybe then they can sell the land that was once for the wildlife and fynbos, to build more houses and roads............. Maybe that is the bigger plan and not the managing of wildlife or baboons in the Cape..........
