This time of the year it is very hot so if we are out in the heat we usually look for a shade tree or some kind of shade. In the winter when it is cold we usually do the opposite and look for a sunny spot where it is warmer. This can remind us as well the next time you do this that we must also keep ourselves in the love of God. (Jude 1:21) We are loved no matter what so we do not have to act any special way to get this love how ever we do want to please Him. We should just think about His love for us and stand in it all day long. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Man, He loved us before we were born and He loves us now. I say we take up the theme of John, "I am the disciple that Jesus loves", He said this to others at least 5 times in the gospel of John and we should repeat it to ourselves during each day or as a reminder when things get tough sing the popular song "Jesus loves me this I know." I am so glad that my Father in Heaven tells of His love in the Book He has given; wonderful things in the Bible I see--the most meaningful is that Jesus loves me. God loves us not because of who we are, but because of who He is. Romans 8:31-39
