This turned out to be a unique day for sure.... In spite of who is going to control what. What I mean by that is there was not control over the mic, speakers list by anyone group over another!!! The grassroots made today and did force ENGOs, politicians to come down to earth with the rest of the people that actually have been doing the work needed to be done... Caretakers on the mountain were recognized and honour by the Salish, Phil Lane Jr and gifted for all their dedication, commitment and sacrifice.. Finial words reflected that point and it was a consistent message through everyone that spoke... It was also made clear to all ENGOs and politicians that they have been humbled by those taking on direct actions need and should be at any table that talks about strategy building. So to sum up, all groups got the idea to work together and be open for everyones input. One group does not need to be dammed for their actions over another groups morals and old ethical standards...
