This video gives a peek at the cover art images and audio samples for most of my original songs and acoustic music released during the 2014 year. There are some that are lullabies, and some country rock and/or acoustic folk Americana in there. I don’t generally attempt to land in any one style or genre because I work hard to remain open to where a song wants to land when you get in the studio recording with artistic and creative musicians. And my working in 3 different studio settings during the year with several collaborations with some great musicians put the various tunes into a wide array when considered in this review format. So too, there is a good amount material in the works and currently underway that bodes well for my 2015, and I’m looking forward to sharing it as they are completed. I am enjoying having cover art for each release rather than assembling EPs, because it give me a small palette to add perhaps a smidgeon of visual for a song without ruining a listeners imagination thereon. I am careful about not wanting to use video or too many visuals to interrupt how someone may cast a vision of their own when they listen. And yet, I enjoy knowing that a digital download carries with it something unique visually for each song. I hope that is something worthwhile to those who buy my songs.
