It is, also, dedicated to LF and all other artists who were led to believe that creativity is a symptom of a mental disorder. It is not! Artists and their vision of the world is what has caused the beauty that we see and experience. The numbers of artists who have died at the hands of mental health treatment are too large to count.It is not about needing more mental health, as the media would have you believe. This will not prevent senseless deaths of our artists or our friends and members of our community. Mental Health diagnoses are not evidenced through medical tests, such as brain scans, chemical imbalance tests or blood tests. They are voted upon by workgroups of psychiatrists (of which 3/4 of those workgroups have financial ties to pharmaceutical companies). The diagnoses are voted upon based upon a list of symptoms.
