This video proves what a mother will do. My partner and myself pick up three baby mallards in a pool, in the 1000-blk. of West Ridge Dr. The mother duck would not let us catch her. So we placed the the three ducklings in a pet carrier, on the back of the tailgate, which is what you see in the video. The mother then followed us all the way down West Ridge, crossed over Cedar Ridge, then continued back onto West Ridge into Lakeside Park. Pretty touching to watch, I know she was getting tired, and her feet probably hurt. But all four reunited at the park, and are doing good together. Animals are amazing.
