This was a ground breaking LP...no one had ever released anything like this no record exec wanted this out.......itll ruin your career. This is a glimpse into what DB was really like......you have the chance to hear some chatter and probably the most soulful vocal ever recorded Faded Love. In all my years of friendship with the man......I dont think we ever sat down to play without me making this part of our list. Never knew his talent, wasted a lot of it because of that, didnt think much of his talent. He used to laugh after an interview....look at me and say them folks crazy, honey there is a hundred of me down home. There wasnt Laney. Do yourself a favor today listen to Faded Love with new ears, every time you listen to it you will hear something different. We all gotta leave this earth, but damn you, Laney, I sure would enjoy one more time with you and Mamo. I hope all that is said is true and there is a big reunion up there if there is....
