This was my result of my first amrap set. After 9 sets of doubles I hit my 10th set at 385 lb (85% 1RM) for 9 reps on squat. Definitely fun and challenging. Just kept grinding after each rep. 10 reps would have been awesome but I didnt want to become a taco. Also some of you may have noticed Ive been wearing a device on my forearm. This is the Push unit that measures velocity & power. Still not sure how accurate it measures (compared to lab grade tendo units & force plates) and how to properly read & apply the data collected. However the trends do show some good insight minus the few inconsistencies (mostly user as Im still figuring this unit out) Most of my videos are from the side for assessment purposes and I drew a line here to asses my relative bar path, form, and to make future adjustments if necessary. Im my biggest critic and sometimes these assessments are helpful but they can be taken in over-analysis as well. Just have to remember to have fun with it and take it one day at a time.
