Another preacher on television saying to the vulnerable ones that if they plant a financial seed to that ministry that God will bless them financially. Im tired of this, the only one who is going to be richer tomorrow is that wolf in sheeps clothing saying, God said. so many Christians are caught up in the false doctrine of prosperity. Christians are wanting wealth and for what? What will it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his own soul, Jesus asked that question. Where your treasure is there your heart will be also. examine yourself people and ask yourself what is it that i treasure? I dont know about all of you but this world has nothing to offer me. I live in a efficiency apartment and im content because this is where the Lord wants me right now. I had so much more a few months back but I was falling away from God in a subtle way, and because of his mercy and great love he took me from the life that i lived and brought me into the life that he wanted me to live. has it been easy, I say emphatically no. He could not get my attention because I was comfortable in my life surrounded by my stuff. I was comfortable but he knew that i wasnt happy, but as i share this tonight i can honestly say that I have less stuff now but much more peace, joy and happiness. God doesnt care if Im wealthy but what he does care about is making me more like his son, Jesus. God never promised to pour into my life the untold riches of this world but he has promised to pour into my heart without measure his gracious Holy Spirit. I can say workout reserve that I want more of Jesus, even if that means living in a efficiency apartment right now and trusting him for my daily bread and depending completely on him to meet my every need. If you want financial prosperity then chase it but i want more of Jesus and im going to pursue him. These lying preachers that peach prosperity and say that God said when God never said will soon be in for a rude awakening as well as all those who believe what their lying lips say. Time is running out people, do you want more of Jesus or more money in this life? Jesus is the only treasure you should be seeking. If you have Jesus in your heart as Lord and savior you are rich indeed, and as for me He is enough and I am satisfied.
