This weather is enough to make me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we ever have a day when it doesnt have a Chance of showers in the forecast? If you make a living by working outside, this year has to be the worst. I have been telling my customers that I can only do what Mother Nature allows. While some of them are really great about it ( Theresa Nace Bashore is one of them!) others just dont seem to get it? I booked a job 2 weeks ago. When I did, I told the lady it could be 2 months till I could get to it. I repeated this over and over again (At LEAST 4 times). Yesterday, my phone rang and of course, I got the old, Did you forget about us? Once again, I repeated what I told her the first time, and of course, she said, You NEVER told me it would be that long............ and then proceeded to rip me a new a$$hole. Guess what? I fired her, Lol. The job was to spread some dirt and plant grass seed on a 10x12 bare area in her yard. Total cost= $150 I never thought I would ever be in the position where I would have to do this? I tell all of my customers before I even quote the job that my schedule is full, I really, really want to work for you, but it will be awhile until I can do the work. I am up front, that way, if they need it done sooner, they can find someone who can get it done in their time frame. I got out of the insurance business to get away from dealing with people. While I knew I would still have a few to take care of (30 is a lot better than 4000), I never expected I would get the same amount of crap, Lol. Tomorrow is a new day.............It will get better. :-)
