This week I started as a part-time Student Graphic Designer for MSSUs Relations/Marketing Department! Ill be working with a team to create a bunch of the promo material/graphic around campus. A cool story about this- its been kind of my dream to work with the marketing department while Im at Southern, and in January I got the chance to interview to be an intern there. From my understanding I did really well on the interview and would have had it, but I found later that I miscalculated the amount of time I would have and had to turn it down(while working like 20 hours at the bank/10 hours freelance/15 credit hours). Somehow, even though this semester is looking like itll be even BUSIER than that (15 hours at BWJ, 12-15 hours at MSSU, 10+ freelance hours, and 17-22 credit hours) yet it all still seems to work out where Im done at 5 in the evening every day. Im really thankful to God for the supportive wife/family I have, and really, really thankful for the opportunity as a whole. Keep me in your thoughts/prayers/smoke signals though, cause this will be some of the busiest 4 months of my life, haha.
