This week, Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division vie for the prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge to distinguish themselves among their peers as medical professionals. This competition will test more than 200 medics from the across the Division and Ft. Bragg. During the six days, the candidates will be evaluated in a pressure-filled environment on their ability to perform advanced Soldier and medical tasks to include day and night land navigation, tactical combat casualty care, a written exam and a 12-mile road march.
