This week has been an amazing adventure. Speeches to the Community Vitality Initiative working group, the Eureka! 2014 conference, the Presidents Advisory Council, then the Madison Chamber of Commerce presented interesting, challenging engagements with very diverse audiences. That was topped off by a long, terrific day in the Omaha area on Friday. It began with Gerald Timmerman and ended with Dr. Bill and Beverly Karrer - all dearest friends and mentors who really probed on what the heck were doing with Rural Futures Institute. Their support and encouragement means much to me. Throw in meetings at UNO and the UNMC and I felt we had covered the waterfront for one week!
