This week on Wednesday, December 4th, we will host our elementary - TopicsExpress

This week on Wednesday, December 4th, we will host our elementary district UIL Academic meet. It will begin at 3:00 pm and all BUS students will be dismissed at 2:05 pm except for Mrs. Kooymans class. Buses will arrive at 2:05 pm and parents may begin picking up NON-BUS kids in the front and back entry at 2:15 pm. We have the second round of our UIL Academic Meet on Wednesday, December 11th, starting at 3:00 pm and that day will also be an early dismissal for BUS kids at 2:05 pm. Buses will arrive at 2:05 for pickup and parents may begin picking up in the front and back entry at 2:15 pm. Also a few other notes for all parents: Elementary picture retakes are this Wednesday, December 4th during the morning. We also have our elementary 4th graders performing at the annual tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 7th, at 5:00 pm followed by their singing at Main Place when Santa arrives. We hope you can join us for some awesome musical talent! Next week: The Christmas Luncheon for third and fourth graders will be held on Tuesday, December 10th. Third grade begins at 11:50 am. Fourth graders will follow at around 12:30 pm. These times are estimates and, as you know, we may be running behind. You may purchase tickets in the front office or from a school employee in the high school parking lot on the 10th. You may park your cards at the elementary ten minutes before and we will have two buses there to shuttle you back and forth. There will be no extra kids allowed so please do not bring any or you will not be allowed to attend. The cafeteria is crowded already and we dont want anyone to miss out on their time with their school-aged kids. You may not park here at the elementary. If the buses run late, it is because we are still having the lunch before and it ran over so there is no need to walk over unless you just want to do so. Thanks for your patience. We appreciate all that you do to help our students be successful and in understanding the hurdles we have overcome with traffic for this year. We appreciate you!
