This weekend dealt us somewhat of a wide range of emotions. As many of you know my mother has been battling dimentia and after a brief hospital stay the decision was made to place her in a home. Presently it is under a temporary status but I believe permanent status is not far behind. I really didnt know if she grasped the magnitude of the entire situation until this frail woman looked at me and said Dont worry, Ill be alright here. My mother is all of 100 lbs and in quite a weakened state yet she proved once again in the face of adversity she was not going to let it conquer her. Shes a hell of a lady who I am proud to say is my mother.
