This weeks addition of Throw Back Thursday. Yes, I changed my profile photo. That was from the last time that we spent an evening with Angie and Troy Gentry, which was a few years back. I changed it and am posting three photos from the year 2000, in honor of Angie McClure Gentry. Her and Troy announced recently (not from the podium @ the White House, but from the Opry Stage) that she has breast cancer and Misty and I just found out about this last weekend. We spent many, many evening with them. One of the perks of my gig is free travel, but they insisted many times that Misty meet us there so we could all hang. I miss seeing both of them as much as we used to. I love them dearly and want them to know they are not in this alone. I have many other Sistas who have gone or are going through this, including one I had breakfast with two weeks ago. So along with her (calling all FBPs-- Kelly Warner Thomas) we are asking folks to shoot some prayers their way. God knows, for real, God knows they have been working for me and I learned to share a long time ago. Take care of each other. Peace.
