This year I have learned a lot. Had to change ALL my contracts for available puppies due to 3 people and their impulse buying and bad reasoning to own a well bred dog. Ive had to start investigating people more and checking references. I have to change ALL my handling contracts due to people trying to send me their puppy mill pets and then wanting to never pay or give me a dog in place of work. I have to no longer take breeds sight unseen due to several coming to me in non show condition yet a championship expected overnight. When youre a new handler you have all kinds of people that think you should be cheap, make a deal, etc because what turns out they dont want to or have been run off from quality handlers. Well I have never wanted to be known as a discount guy because you never ever get above that level. Always cheap, always disrespected by professionals, always taking dogs you wouldnt personally own. I will not sell my puppies to anyone that doesnt fit every requirement. I am not cheap. I work my ass off for my clients and myself for a reason.
