This year we skipped the banquet (again) and had an all day staff party to thank our SMP staff, and give some down time and fun before our last week of camp... It started at noon with decesares for lunch (a local fav) a visit from the ice cream truck, beach party, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, Wrecking ball, cotton candy, sno cones, photo area till dinner. Moes catered dinner (welcome to Moes!!!) to give our kitchen staff a night off, followed by a volleyball challenge from our under 25 staff to play the over 25 staff (guess who won), ending the night with a movie and popcorn on the front lawn....Thank you Jeff, holly & unit leaders for putting in the effort to make the day awesome for all our SMP, volunteers, missionaries, full time staff and all our families. Now you guys need a day off to recover from all your hard work.... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for our Crew this summer!!!! Also massive thanks to those who drove boats and lifegaurded!!! Super awesome day...
