Those little guys entertained me (us) day into night (no tv!?) How cute is Denise Filera-Miksza ..they didnt have pillows, so I kept making blanket pillows on either side, as her head tilted side to side. :) Worth EVERY minute waiting to fit in those MRIs, to get the care thats needed. Its MY fault it took so long anyway. It was late, they wanted to postpone one MRI to next day...but how the hell do u decide brain or spine MRI to next day?? We r talking Cancer here! So...I told them if they didnt do both MRIs, I wanted it documented that I (her friend & nurse) do NOT feel comfortable with postponing & if anything happens its on them, because proper diagnosis/treatment cant happen without both. So..everybody stayed, scans done, preliminary read done (they said theres no radiologist there so I asked if they could send to nyc to read??) Thank God Im a pit bull when I need to be & thank God the Dr listened to me. Shed not met Denise & Denise was tired & hurting. I just knew my persistence was more than necessary. Lord knows Denise & I argue, but she knows if she asks me to go with her, I will tell the drs what she isnt or hadnt. All I did was be a loving friend. Guys please pray pray pray!!
