Those of you who know me in real life, know I kill everything thats not human... In moving to Texas I decided to change that notion. Really how hard could plants be after 6 kids?!?! Right? And for all those who see Reids awesome growing skills... They dont transfer in marriage. ;-) Two months ago, I took on the task of growing food in the tower gardens. I planted little seeds in every hole, talked to them every day, and the sprouts started to pop up! Then the bugs arrived. I killed bugs and plants with vinegar... Then the hot sun and hundred degree days scorched all the leaves. Then the toxic city water turned the leaves yellow. BUT WE MADE IT!!! They lived and so did I! Reid and I (mostly Reid), built a trellis for my climbers, I have been filtering their water and Im learning to make worm tea to keep the bugs away.
