Those of you who know me well know I believe in one love - one people. You also know that I dont use broad brushes with which to paint the world. Not all police are racist, not all republicans heartless, not all democrats spendthrifts, etc., etc., etc. Having said this, there is nothing about the short little song Samuel L. Jackson has posted and challenged people to circulate to the degree the ice bucket challenge experienced that goes against my open mindedness. What it says to me is that once you know wrong is being done, its a whole lot harder to go to sleep at night having done nothing to right it: Now Im in the struggle, and I cant leave. So here I am: too close to the mic on the camera, moving it around so the auto focus cant get a fix on my face, and, yea, theres a little asthma rasp lingering in there but thats so not the point.
