Thought I would share my awesome news! There is a very large percentage of breast cancer on my moms side of the family, including my mom, who all had the disease premenopausally in their late 40s. I have always wanted to be tested for the BRCA-1 gene, knowing my risk is high. Amazingly enough my insurance just approved my receiving this test!!! I feel blessed, as this test is NOT cheap. So next week I go in for gene testing. Just hope I dont have to pull an Angelina on this one...
