Thought Id add an update on my outfit for Salt Lake Comic Con. Finished adding vision in the eyes and the 120 lights took about 5 minutes per light to engrave. Ive added batting on half of the head and the hard hat inside with dual battery packs. Added memory foam tips at the end of the six spines so I dont poke eyes out. :) its hard to see the nose I painted black and stuck up on a screwdriver. The Solyx perforated white film just arrived to layer my 12 gauge vinyl for the eyes. To-do list: Wrap head, add two spines at shoulder blades, add belly to cover zipper, install ventilation fan, make gloves and boots, makes arm and foot bands, and paint eyes. So much work goes into a costume that Ive gained a lot of respect for those who can do it and those who are willing to try. :)
