Thought for the day… 3 Common nutritional mistakes made when cutting: 1. Over emphasis on Shakes/Detox/Supplements- Supplements or shakes are not going to cause any further fat loss without proper nutrition and training; 2. Avoidance of entire food groups/macronutrients- You dont need to completely restrict/eliminate carbohydrates, sugars, fat etc. Carbohydrates do NOT make you fat, nor does sugar or another food for that matter. What causes weight gain is an excess of calories; OR 3. Eating a specific set of foods- No foods cause fat loss, and no food will lead to weight gain. The magical combination of foods that melts away fat simply doesnt exist. Not to mention, adopting a restrictive diet that limits the number of foods you consume could potential lead to nutritional deficiencies as well as the potential to create eating disorders. Food quality is secondary to food quantity, and your diet should consist of a wide variety of foods to ensure you reach micronutrient/vitamin/mineral goals.
