Thought for the day... How about today, Saturday October nineteenth, we give it all over to the Lord? Oh, I cannot say I can or that I am willing to do that! What would that involve? Praying, reading my Bible, being kind to others, meditation, acceptance of His will, the list grows longer and longer. But think about it this way for a moment; do we not do these things already? We may not consciously give everything, every part of our day to God, but if the things we do are pleasing and acceptable to Him, then yes we are working towards that very thing. Today is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. That is a scripture we all know and see often. If we allow this truth to be a part of every moment then we will be giving each day back to the One who created it all. Pray with me now friends. Lord we ask that you accept this day as one lived in service to you. Take us and make us ever more desirable to be in and to do your will. Help us too to remember that it all belongs to you. Amen. Have a beautiful day, knowing that you are loved, you are worthy and that you indeed have the power to make this and every day a day lived for God.
