Thought of the day: Transparency is not a gift, it is a choice. It is brought on by ones level of commitment to God, self and others. As we walk on this earth we will encounter times where transparency is a must. In fact if one is in ministry it is in my opinion always needed. Transparency doesnt mean you tell your life story to everyone. However, you may have to give a partial story to assist someone else in their transformation. This is not about confessing sins, for those sins should already be forgivin. Its about opening up your heart sharing your experience with who God placed in front of you. In some cases you may be in front of a large crowd when opening up. Transparency allows the full magnitude of God to have rein over you through you and around you. So, beware of folks who are fearful of transparency. More than likely they are still fiddling around with what others think about them as opposed to what God thinks about them. If youre saying God called you to minister..then I know transparency is mandatory. ...have an amazing day! And remember.. its not about you. L.D. Faison
