Thought of the day...in just a short moment of time I have learned of a friends second pregnancy, I have celebrated the life of a loved one who went to be with The Lord, on Wednesday I turn another year older, and this weekend I celebrate a dear friends wedding. Wow. If that isnt the definition of life. My dad reminded me today on our tombstone there is a birthdate and the date we die, but our life is represented by that small dash in between. The life we have been given here on earth is short and the time is precious. God gave His son so that we can have this life full of blessings and momentous occasions. The value of our lives shouldnt be measured by anger, selfishness, or hurt. It should be measured by how hard you loved, the strength in forgiveness, and the softness of your heart. I dont know about anyone else but when I go I want that dash to mean something remarkable. Its the only dash Im blessed with and I wont waste it.
