Three Teens Arrested after Home Invasion on Seymour Street On Saturday, July 19, 2014, at approximately 1:50 a.m. Worcester police were called to a three-decker on Seymour Street for a report of a Home Invasion. During the investigation, police learned that there was a party taking place at the dwelling when three males showed up and kicked in the front door. One of the males had a gun and ordered everyone to put their hands up. A fight broke out between the males and the people in the apartment. The fight spilled out to the front of the dwelling. Police arrived on scene and attempted to break up the fight. A 17-year-old male attacked police officers as they were separating two individuals. The teen was charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Malicious Destruction of Property, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. Later, police determined that the teen was one of the three males who were involved in the Home Invasion. A short time after officers cleared the scene, the two other male suspects returned to the dwelling again. The two males searched the apartment. The victim was able to hide from the males as they rummaged through the apartment. Officers entered the three-decker and located the two suspects. Welsey Humphrey of Worcester was found on the first floor in possession of various stolen items. A 17-year-old was apprehended by police as he was attempting to escape through the backyard. Welsey Humphrey, 18, of 86 Vernon Street, Apartment 1, Worcester, MA was charged with Home Invasion, Malicious Destruction of Property over $250 and Receiving Stolen Property over $250. A 17-year-old male of Worcester was charged with Home Invasion, Malicious Destruction of Property over $250 and Receiving Stolen Property over $250. A 17-year-old male of Worcester was charged with Home Invasion, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Malicious Destruction of Property, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
