Through my years, there have been few people whose music, both their songwriting and voice, have been able to significantly touch me. Natalie Matos is one of these. Likened to both Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman, her vocal range and versatility combines soul diva and haunting folk melodies alike. One doesn’t only hear her, but can feel her as well.
