Throughout my life, I have met many…many people. Some have remained acquaintances. Some have become good friends. But, all of them have had an impact of some kind on my life. Because of some paths I have chosen, I have lost touch with some people that I cared for, or that were special friends at some point in time. At the same time, some people that are still special to me are an active part of my life today. I have had some people who have made me look at things from a different point of view….some that have made me extremely happy….and some that have hurt me unbelievably bad. Regardless of what they did, they are all part of my life, and all are a small part of who I am today. I had always questioned whether a good person…….. an honest person with an extraordinary heart …….. actually existed. I wondered if there was really anybody that cared selflessly about others. Then I met Kim. I read once that sometimes, if you pay attention to those that touch your life, someone may come into your life that changes everything. Without you even knowing it, they will raise your standards. Without even trying, they will make you so happy that you smile and laugh without having a reason…or even knowing that you’re doing it. And then one day… you will catch yourself thinking about them….and….you will catch yourself smiling. With the least of effort, they will make you feel happy and alive. They will make you feel like you would feel if you could take all of the happiest times of your life…and put them all in one pile. There is something about her that I cant put into words. And even when I’m not with her, I don’t want to let her go.
