Thursdays tip of the day! You cant teach an old dog new tricks....or can you? When you get started with a company like It Works there are many things you have to relearn and change about the way your doing things or not doing things! You just came out of the real world where people are only out for themselves and its all about ME! BEING part of It Works is kinda like being in OZ at first! So what do I mean? Well, in real life you have to one up the next person and step over people to get places! Here you have to help others get what they want before you can get what you want. In the real world people are selfish and mean! Here we want to see others succeed and we are all about the friendships! In the real world people dont have fun nor do they live debt free....Its get more credit cards, cash doesnt exist! Here we are all about having fun, being happy, and living a debt free life! So as you can see we have to mentally make some adjustments! I remember my first year I just kept thinking that this was way to good to be true and I waited for the bottom to drop out! But 4 years later it never happened! For the first time in your life what seams to good to be true is the real deal! Here are five things your going tio have to change to be successful! 1) put others first! I know its a dog eat dog world out there but not in here it isnt! This is a very hard transition for people to not be selfish and think about themselves. Its okay to come into the business for selfish reasons...most do! But you will sess quickly the way to get ahead is by helping others reach their goals and dreams...yours will just come naturally! 2) cut out negative people! This one can be very difficult because sometimes those negative people are close friends or even a spouse! There are some people that you will naturally move away from! The better your life gets and the more you begin living the it Works way you will begin separating yourself from negativity and those people around you will separate themselves from you because they will get tired of hearing how well your doing! As for those people you cant separate yourself from it will be up to you to not talk about it Or bring it up around them! You will See how many come around when you start really bringing in the money! 3) stop the negative thoughts and talk! This one can be super hard for many people because we have been programmed to think things arent possible or.we arent good enough! You can change this habit by first off getting #2 down but also self developing and reading. It wont happen over night!..Its going to take time and effort on your part but the more successful you become the easier it gets to cut out the negativity! 4) stop thinking someone is going to hold your hand or tell you what to do! This seems to be the hardest of the 5 things because we have been programmed for so long our entire lives someone telling us what to do and what not to do! From the time you were born through every job you have ever had There has been consequences when your not doing what someone else said. You now own your own business and no one is going to make you get out there every day and grow it! No one is going to ground or fire you! You have to motivate yourself to make it happen and just do it everyday! 5) step out of your comfort zone! Most people play it safe! But your not most people! Your going too do things in this business that you never have before Shi get use to it! In fact, try to be out of your comfort zone as much as possible...thats when you know your growing!!! Get use to failing! If your not failing your not growing! Get use to making mistakes off your not making mistakes you cant learn from them! Always be getting out of that comfort zone!! BOOM BOOM BOOM! There you go! Tips to follow! Have an awesome Thursday!
